MayWorks 2013: Honoring Workers
Updated On: May 03, 2013 (15:49:00)

On Memorial Day weekend, the NW Folklife Festival will feature a "
Washington Works" focus. Attendees can check out panels, presentations, art exhibits and more, all with the aim of recognizing and honoring the working men and women who make our region great. The second annual month-long MayWorks series of events will tie into the Folklife celebration.

In the words of folksinger and poet Charlie King, "Our life is more than our work, and our work is more than our job."
